Ministry of Health commences recruitment process of health professionals

The Ministry of Health (MoH) has officially released its recruitment schedule for the validation and posting of qualified health professionals across the country.
Amongst other steps, applicants must first verify if they qualify via the MoH recruitment portal verify.mohrecruitment.com

In a statement signed and released on April 15, 2026 by the the ministry's spokesperson, Tony Goodman, applicants  are to use either their PIN or Index Number to check and confirm if their details are valid and are cleared by the professional council.

According to the ministry, the recruitment process, which commenced on Thursday, April 16, 2026 is expected to follow the schedule below:

16th – 20th April: PIN verification only

22nd – 25th April: :Pharmacists, Pharmacy Technicians, PAs, CRAs

27th April – 1st May: Allied Health Professionals

4th – 15th May: Nurses and Midwives

Meanwhile Nurses and Midwives are expected to commence applications on regional bases and on the following dates.

4th–5th May: Upper East & Upper West Regions

6th–7th May: Savannah & North East Regions 

8th–9th May: Oti & Bono East Regions 

10th–11th May: Western North & Ahafo Regions 

12th May: Volta & Northern Regions 

13th May: Central & Western Regions 

14th May: Bono & Ashanti  Regions 

15th May: Eastern & Greater Accra Regions

The Ministry of Health has reiterated that the recruitment process is aimed at ensuring transparency and efficiency in the nationwide posting of qualified health professionals.
